2019 Sir Henry Cotton Award - Ivan Oliver
Presented to an individual who has demonstrated meritorious service to junior golf for a sustained period. The winner of this award received a grant kindly provided by the Stanley Morrison Trust and an ETIQUS golfer’s watch kindly donated by Gary Butler.PGA Professional Ivan Oliver, has delivered an outstanding level of golf provision across East Riding and North Yorkshire for many years. Each year, Ivan provides approximately 16,000 children with access to golf through the various activities he delivers within local schools, the community and at golf clubs. Ivan works with a total of 9 golf facilities and according to Golf Foundation Regional Development Officer, Stacey Mitchell “is an exceptional coach who always delivers the core values of the Golf Foundation.”
